Pop star Christina Aguilera has cancelled her summer tour in support of the singer’s upcoming album “Bionic,” which was set to start in July. The reason given in a release by tour promoter Live Nation was: “The singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour date this wasn’t possible.”

Maybe, but early reviews of “Bionic,” the pop diva’s first album in four years, have not been positive, and the debut single “Not Myself Tonight,” peaked at #23. Could weak ticket sales be the real reason for dumping the tour?
